Keep sons busy

जीवनमरणमिति'कौटिल्यः। ॰॰॰ समर्थ तद्विदोविनयेयुः। काष्ठमिव घुणजग्धं राजकुलमविनीतपुत्रमभियुक्तमात्रं।

चाणक्य के मतानुसार राजकुमारों को ऐंद्रिक सुखोपभोग में लगाना उन्हें जीते जी मार देने के समान है। वेसा ही जैसे घुन लकडी॰ को समाप्त कर देती है। चाणक्य इस मत के विरुद्ध राजकुमारों को श्रेष्ठ गुरुओं  की देखरेख मैं अनुकूल शिक्षा देने के पक्ष में हैं जिससे वे विद्याविनीत बनें।

But ChaaNkya does not agree with this. According to him if a son of king is allowed to enjoy sensuous pleasure from the beginning, he will be finished forever as wood- worm eats away the wood as a whole. ChaNkyaa suggests good education to the sons of the king under great teachers.
