Bodyguard of the king

पित्रिपैतामहं महासम्बन्धानुबन्धं शिक्षितंमनुरक्तमं कृतकर्मा जनमासन्नं कुर्वीत। नान्यतोदेशीयमकृतार्थं मनं स्वदेशीयंवाप्यकृत्योपगृहीतं अन्तर्वशिकसैन्यं राजानमन्तःपुरं च रक्षेत।

एक ऐसा अंगरक्षक सदा राजा के साथ रहना चाहिए जो जो उसके पिता-पितामहों, प्रमुख जनों तथा राजवंश से सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला हो। वह सुशिक्षित, राजा से प्रीति रखनेवाला ,राजभक्त और अपने कार्य में पूर्णतः कुशल हो। ऐसा  विदेशी या स्व,देशी  व्यक्ति जो कभी राज्य  द्वारा असम्मानित हुआ हो और पुनः नियुक्त किया गया हो,  कभी भी राजा के अंगरक्षक के रूप में नहीं रखा जाना चाहिए।

A bodyguard , belonging to the traditions of father and forefathers or related to big people or related to linage of the kings family, should always be with the king. Bodyguard should be well educated , having love and respect for the king and should be fully conversed in his job. Someone who was ever before was disrespected by the king, but later re-appointed in service ,living in the same country or a foreigner,  must not be appointed as the bodyguard of the king.
