Dakshina Mukha Nandi Teertha Kalyani Kshetra
This temple is situated in Malleswaram
The main attraction of this temple is flowing water from the
mouth of Nandi, the vehicle of the lord, continuously, without any break ever. The
water from the mouth of Nandi keep
falling on the linga through a kalash kept just above the lord. This water goes
directly to the small pond in front of the idol. Devotees carry this water with
great faith in healing power of this water.
There is a white idol of Nandi
,facing south , placed on the top of the entrance of the temple.
I visited this temple in Malleswaram, Bangalore on 16th
of January 2013.
This temple faces famous Sri Gangamma devi temple.
